Depends wat sort of machine u want, pocket size models start upwards of rs 450 but can weigh only upto 2 kgs, i think ur speaking of buying a machine to weigh urself...

It is available in the weight & measure stores and in few hardware stores too ........ but once that is purchased , same has to be sealed and certified by weight & measure dept. it would cost you around Rs.6000/- which can weigh up to 100kg(digital) ........ the safest way to buy , is from weight & measure dept ......

Depends on application .i have one manual (scale type) which is spare now n weigh upto 300kg.also m in link with who imports it directly. it cost me just 700 (digital display) base dia 13 glass.
