It is not only Indians but in all religion cast system is there ......... Hindus follow Brahmin, Kshyatriya, Vysya and Sudra ..... Similarly in Islam it si Seikh, syed, Mughal and Pathan, ........ in Christian, there are Protestant & Catholic ....... these cast system in Hindu ,has never been created to divide people but to manage the society in a proper way ....... like , Brahman has to educate the society , Kshyatriya to save the society, Vysya to provide the food to all by doing business and Sudra to provide the service to society........ it never means that Brahmins should get higher status and the Sudras are the lower one in the society ...... the feeling has been created only by few people to retain the power ........ regarding the other religion I don't know much more ..........
