Hello Shantha,
Understand when you but a fridge you at least keep it for 4 yrs. I also had problem when i had to buy one about four months back but i opted Samsung and let me tell you it was the best decision, i am very happy with it.
I has got wide range so my suggestion to you will be Samsung. Whirlpool is also good but if it has to be my choice then any day Samsung over it.Hope i was of some help to you.
