Managing corporate world is different than managing a country...In the former one business ethics are observed by all most all members of the corporate sector but the later is more complex, highly networked, variable system...To serve the nation in such a high caliber one has to first be part of the political system and work from bottom to top..because experience and understanding matters a lot when it comes to administer or govern a state or nation...one needs to demonstrate or prove their caliber before stepping into such positions of high stature and responsibility...Narayana Murthy is no doubt a successful enterprenuer and manager in business world but politics is totally new to him..I'd rather say he better get experience by working closely with the system to gain a better insight and understanding of it..Like Dr. APJ Kalam was official advisor to PM for scientific/technological matters before becoming President of nation...
