A Society is at its best when the forces of satva, thamas and rejus are balanced.
There is no need to glorify one or despise another. There are things only people of thamas can do, and certain others which can only be done by people who are more rajasic in nature. An ideal society makes room for all kinds of people living in harmony without one harming the other!
Having said all this. I am not supporting animal sacrifice. It is so inhumane in the present times for people of any nature. It has to be stopped. Certain states have already banned it.
