For being SUPER POWER in the world, the country should have a strong leadership. USA does not ask for permission to attack anywhere in the world because they are SUPER POWER. can we imagine ourselves in that position ?

USA's President has to take permission from the Congress before finalising an attack and sending in the troops.
Secondly USA is answerable to its allies and the NATO. Also US Govt is definitely answerable to its public, more than anyone else. USA is NOT 'nirankush' as we say in Hindi.
During Worl War Two, USA's public did not want that America should join the war, in spite of UK and France constantly seeking its inervention. So, USA did not join the war ... until Pear Harbour happened.
It was so that Japan sent its planes in hundreds to Pearl Harbour, a harbour of Hawai which is a part of USA. thousands of Americans were killed, many ships anchored in harbour were destroyed and many housaes and buildings destroyed. It was then that the people of USA began demonstrating, demanding that America enter the war. If super power can be used to hurt others then it's not required ........... yes, as you told very nicely, to become a super power a good leader/leadership is required but we are lack in that ....... it is true that India is having all kind of sources but our leaders don't want to utilize in a right direction ......... they don't want to see the country's development ......... we are master in words but not in works ..........

They'e also involved in a lot of humanitarian work all over the world. Most people often overlook this. Will we be able to do humanitarian work on such gigantic scale, while half of our population cannot afford two square meal a day....
