No. It is a pathetic display of batting by the Indians, who are known for their famed batting line-up (which comprises two players in the ten thousand-run club in Test and One-day International cricket). However, 76 in the first innings of the second Test against South Africa at Ahmedabad between April 3 and 7, 2008 is not the Indian record for the lowest total in a Test innings.
