We generally love most of our habits. But when these habits become obstacle in relationship, do we really quit them ?

To accomodate with other's expectations is social obligation of minimum level in relationship.Otherwisw what is the value of relaionship if you hang-up with your whims and ego ?

Some times love changes every thing and due to deep lovely relationship people have gave up bad habit like smoking

Relationship too becomes a habit and in the war of two habits..the one with higher addiction quotient wins if really at loggerheads..

Depends on what kind of habits u have, if your habit is really a troublesome to others,then sure u need to quit them...relationships are developed knowing the habits...Nothing to do with relationships..its just a matter of good and bad...

Comrade Subash, this is why I try pick up a Commie or an agrarian gal as a life partner. For some reason, Periyar followers and Communist gals n agrarian gals in DEsiland don't attach much value to personal habits w/ relationships. This is something which I learnt after a long long time.

Although a commie gal may tell u that she is attracted to her female best friend as u celebrate u r silver jubilee, she will not allow personal habits to get in the way of relationships.

I wouldn't try and quit a habit over a relationship because this is just plain silly. If I loved someone THAT much but I hated shopping, if that other person is a compulsive shopper, I will accompany the person to shop provided we stop in a pub b4 going home....but if I started nagging over her shopping and she over my pubbing, the household will resemble Drachau concentration camp in due course of time.
