Because no offense, sir, believe it or not, Communism has a self destruction mechanism in case stagflation c'z of corruption creeps inward. Until Breazhnava era, the USSR was Communism's chief power. Then, it got more focused on amassig wealth, and corruption seeped. But then in 1989 when things like:

BRIBE TAKING OFFICIALS

became reality, what was AMAIZING that everyone- from bathroom cleaner to boxing coach to doctor to banker to teacher to lawyer bloody united in a single franchise against the system from Russia to ALL other SSR's in the USSR And collectively bought down the system.

The conditions in the USSR and std of living was MUCH better in USSR than in India today and in MANY African coutnries that r capitalist.

Capitalist systems are great for accumulating wealth, nothing wrong with that I guess....but when the system starts failing, it becomes impossible or quti hard to bring it down since the level of coordination of people on a national ...more

Globalisation and out dated fundamentalisum.

It was bound to fail sooner or later because of human nature. people will work harder only if they can get some benefit by working harder. if everyone can have basic necesseties without struggling, and no one can get rich even with struggling, why to work hard ? When no one works hard, productivity of the nation goes down and economy will crash. Soviet union was able to survive for a few decades by exploiting all that smaller european countries under iron curtain and all the countries it occupied like kazakhistan etc. Finally the bubble had to burst. China is still surviving because it is fake communism. they are a capitalist country with dictatorship of party.
