The rating comes from money Stars spend on self promotion . Stars spend on media people for a good review and write up. It is the Jurnos who first fix a tag which is then caught on by the fans, who in turn make it popular by constantly addressing their heroes by the tag name.

It is become a money game everywhere now so the more the price for a movie the star gets more up is there rating. What i feel it should be as per popularity and fan following which made Rajesh Khanna the first Superstar of indian cinema.

In my view it is more related to their popularity and fan following apart from money aspect.
