Facing flak over expenditure of Rs 35 lakh on toilets, the Planning Commission on Wednesday termed it as routine maintenance and upgradation work and said it was "unfortunate" to call it a wasteful expenditure..your views?

It is certainly the most wasteful and unnecessary expenditure and I do smell a rat of high level corruption and scam in it.It should be thoroghly probed and all those found guilty should be made to pay all this expenditure from their own pocket.
