Spherical. The sky surrounds the Earth and follows the contour of the surface. When I reference the sky, I am talking about the atmosphere of the planet, and nothing outside that area, like the stars.
Technically speaking, Earth is a ball, since it is solid. The shape of the sky is hollow if you don't include the Earth. A hollow ball object is a sphere, since a sphere is the series of points in three dimensional space a specific difference from a center point.

There is no real shape. It looks like half a sphere from horizon to horizon. But if you dont take the horizon into consideration the sky just looks like it goes on and on.

It is a spear, because the sky only goes as far as the atmosphere, thus making it a spear, with the center carved out of it,
