Daughter in Law of Bal Thackrey but now since divorced his son but still lives in Thackrey house hold where as son the former husband of Smita Thackrey lives separately!

Smita Thakre is daughter-in-law of Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thakre.
She has already made three feature movies in the past. She is now trying her hands on the fourth one titled 'Kaise Kahen' in cooperation with Sahara One Motion Pictures. Her earlier movies were 'Haseena Maan Jayegi', 'Hum Jo Kah Naaa Paye' and 'Sandwitch'
