u shud check out main and maximum scoring chapter first of all..........and all the chapter should be studied according to the marks bore by them in the syllabus and question paper, u need very thorough study of question paper trends too

1. Keep ur nerves cool
2. Never try to cram the whole book. Rather focus on ideas (if it be art subjects) or on principles and formulae(if it be science or technical subjects).
3. Go through previous years question papers and have an idea of questions
4. Prepare for demo exams. (sit for 2-3hrs at a stretch) but don't practice it on D'day
5. Remember that exam is a way to assess your yearly or periodic studying practices. So focus it on daily basis. A little bit of daily practice will help you immensely when examination approaches. Best wishes.
