Definitely, many a times. I am person who by default and instinct goes by his heart, but at times decisions taken by emotions can turn out to be wrong and even hurt us. So at times I examine the big decisions especially involving the give and tale of money, by my mind and try to take a balanced view

MIND is always in conflict with the HEART if both are given a free hand.
So people inhibit one of them and pay heed to the other only through their entire life. Thus we have mind oriented people and heart oriented people. But this not the ideal thing to do. Mind and heart have different roles (dharma) in our life. One has to understand that and use them by choice, according to the situation!

Heart means lusts, and the intellect is the controller. But it takes a lot of practice to control yourself with the intellect, [Man is controlled by buddhi, where buddhi is the mirror image of soul, but not soul]
