United States of America
Since independence in 1774, the US has been at war for 214 years and at peace for only 21.
Britain
Britain has invaded all but 22 countries in its history. Other countries could write similar books but they would be much shorter. No one can match them although the Americans had a later start and have been working hard on it in the 20th century. A new study has found that at various times the British have invaded almost 90 per cent of the countries around the globe. The analysis of the histories of the almost 200 countries in the world found only 22 which have never experienced an invasion by the British. Among this select group of nations never attacked by Britain are far-off destinations such as Guatemala, Tajikistan and the Marshall Islands, as well some slightly closer to home, such as Luxembourg.

Generations of Americans and British have served in wars giving these countries the dubious title of biggest war mongers in history.
