Vedas are sacred scriptures which deals with the methodology of doing karma, worship, formation and avathara of Lord in different periods and there are four parts, namely, Rig veda, Yajur veda, sama veda and athervana veda. Each deals with different subject. Rig veda deals with method of Worship with shlokas, yajur deals with the practical procedure of performing homa, rituals etc, sama veda regarding the music and athervena veda is about science and technology. It is velieved to be oldest in Universe.
