Why are the reporters/journalists are competing in rudeness and disrespect with politicians ? On TV channels it is clearly been heard the reporters calling ANNA , ANNA , why can not they address as AnnaJEE , or Sir, or some thing to that effect . Do the reporters think the press license gives them absolute freedom to be rough with elders and talk in derogatory terms ?

In journalism such terms as Jee and Shri etc are always avoided. Hence it is Obama, LK Adani, Vajpayee, Sonia, Anna, Kiran Bedi etc etc without such prefixes as Shri or Mr. or suffixes like Jee. There is no disrespect intended ... its just a norm.
