Yes, if its refrigerated or eaten at night it does give one a cold at times specially the ones like me who have Sinus!!

Dahi can be eating anytime of the day- dahi regulates the stomach, provides calcium and is also helps in preventing deasies like cancer.
However, there are some sections of Indians who believe that dahi has a "cold" effect and should be avoided at night as it may cause a cold-nothing to prove this though.
Enjoy dahi- sweet or sour. I like it too!!

Cold is a result of virus. there are thousands and thousands of different types of virus of only cold! That's the reason no medicine could be made for cold so far.
So, dahi has nothing to do with cold.

Few people say so, but it I believed that the butter milk cools the body where as dahi is heats-up body.
