Q.
During the period of one of our prime ministers there was consciousness amongst people not to be extravagant on banquets at the time of marriages and deaths, now we see that most food is wasted on these occasions. There are many deaths due to starvation, the fact must be borne in mind. How can this be curbed?

The best solution for it is to use the food for feeding the poor who can be fed well. There are some NGO organisations who come to collect food from your place or parties to distribute it amongst the poor without any extra cost to you. Slowly but steadily this step is catching up in the cities & soon should be seen all over the country!!

First of before planning any event always take the confirmation from the guest and distribute the remaining food to the poor people and there plenty of more ways to control wastage of food
