Prepare the child from the beginning to take Roti-Chappati. It helps in the later stages, because sometimes children do not eat properly in the morning and do need something nutritous to keep them going all through the school time. Occassional can be replaced by Rice or IDLI /Dosa or maybe sandwiches if the child gets bored.

One Chapati with some vegetable, not much spicy and Dal-Rice is good enough for the child. Also give some fruits after lunch.
