Atleast during take off and landing, the most dangerous phase in an air travel, pilots have to take control of the plane they can be free by putting the plane on\'autopilot\' after the plane gains altitude In the case of a train, it is just running and stopping the locomotive, ofcourse observing speed limits and the signalling In the diesel hauled and elecrtic traction, the driver or the locopilot is comparatively at ease with his counterpart in the aeroplane

Both are difficult and require skills. Flying aeroplane is easy, only thing most difficult is take-off and landing though.

Train, because, in case of an aeroplane, the whole driving is computerised, and we had an instance of both the pilot and the co pilot sleepingin the plane.
