Dan Brown has successful in a couple of novels like 'Da Vinci Code' and 'Angels & Demons' as he has mixed partial truths to fiction making the people believe in these situations as they can relate to these things in reality. But in both these novels he has gone too far- denigeration of Jesus in the first and the Pope and Papacy in the second. May be he knows if you include shock element in his novels people will be more attracted to these. But by adapting such approach you can succeed to a limit and his subsequent novels have not been that famous or successful

Dan Brown is a Jew. So whether it is Angels and Demons or the Da Vinci Code, his job is to denigrate Christianity on all fronts. Those who like him, are those who themselves dislike Christianity and find in this Jew a friend.
