A sudden uncalled for strike or Bandh....why at all ?
It disturbs the whole schedule and a loss of man hours...
without solving anything...or reigning in galloping peoblems...in fact they add to it further !
Do the strike perpretators realise this...have they achieved anything ever...
I remember the hartals and Bandhs called against implementation of Mandal Commision...
the result was nix...excpet that several angry youn men immolated themselves..
without a raised eyebrow from V P Singh the then PM...
so what do they expect today...
again nothing to show for this loss of a working day !

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had also appealed to the trade unions to withdraw their strike call as the shutdown would cause loss to the economy and inconvenience to general public.
