I reserve my comments till I see how long we hold this title. I salute Dhoni and our team OF COURSE for achieving the number one spot but I would like more time....to compare with the boxing, I want to see whether we are more like an Evander Holyfield, Muhammed Ali range of world champion or a Frank Bruno range of a world champion. I am sure u get my message .
I m not sure which media outlet was doin the criticism, but my reservation with going overboard with praise is that we will get real bummed again if we find out we are more of a Frank Bruno type of champ while we expect our team became the Evander Holyfield champ or a Muhammed Ali champ of cricket.
At this stage there is no way to tell which range of champion we are....a Muhammed Ali type of champion would be the Australian cricket team....which won the world cup in 1987 and built up a legacy which lasts even till today. A Frank Bruno type of champion would be somethin like PAkistan winning world cup in 1992. And then sli ...more
