It certainly Helps . Specially The Karmayog .If KarmaYog applies to real Life scenario A person never have a Fit of Depression .The Stress levels are always in Check .Unnecessary annoyance can be reduced .

It wouldn't matter if we prefer life of eating, sleeping, work - which we share with animals; but yes it does matter if we have to live as humans and is must if we are to be divine.
It makes us understand purpose of our life.
