Fortune does not favour or disfavours.. It is the brave who snatches success through sheer bravery.. Then people say fortune favoured him.. Actually it is vice versa. He snatches fortune in his favour.

The word Brave is singular where as Braves is plural. Fortune is singular and there no S can make it plural. Therefore, Fortune favors the Brave. and the Braves fights for the fortune.Further adjective do not have plural form

If itz a blind one, even unfortunate things also brave. There need to some balance between capability and braveness, just being hard head would not bring fortunes :P

A brave person exposes himelves to more opportunities. More the opportunities more is the probability of success. So it is not the fortune which supports the brave but it is the brave who carves his fortune.
