Yes a regular consumption may be helpful but to some it may create side effects also . A person may also be allergic to beetroot. Sometimes it may increase the severity of kidney stones. Beetroot may also lead to weight gain in some cases. May also create chills sometimes . Therefore this aspect should be examined before its use .

The following yoga procedures should be done before breakfast and need to be repeated 10 times each for good results.
Anulom-Vilom Pranayam
Sit down straight, breathe normally and form the pranayam mudra with right hand. Close right nostril with right thumb and exhale slowly through the left nostril. Now inhale slowly to your maximum capacity. Close left nostril with ring and little finger and lift the thumb off the right nostril. Exhale gradually through the right nostril. Do again with the left nostril to complete one complete round.
Ujjayee Pranayam
Close eyes sitting in sukhasana. Breathe out fully. Now breathe in with both the nostrils and contract your neck muscles to produce a nonstop sobbing sound low but equally pitched without any breaks. Inhale to your lungs, in maximum capacity. You must feel some slight vibration in your chest and head areas. Make an effort in holding your breath as long as possible.
