Q.

Does my god need money? If no, why people offer money to god? May be it is a crazy question for many people but a thoughtful question for someone.

God has NO needs. God is not a beggar!
Places of worship or Godmen or organisations in the name of God etc..........have NOTHING to do with God in particular!

It's not given to God, it's given in name of God for a good purpose. Ideally money given in temple should use it to help needy people, but it goes to priest's personal fund.

Think not what god can give you, but what you can give god.

Unfortunately, people settle this, by parting with fraction of money that they have...!

Have discussed on GOD more than 100 times at this forum ! All poor fellows here !!!
GOD exists not at the mercy of the believers or non-believers. OK ?
HE is omnipresent in this universe as POWER+ENERGY+MATTERS combined.
HE is PHYSICS+CHEMISTRY+BIOLOGY+ASTRONOMICAL MATHEMATICS combuned.
HE is Air, Water, Plants, Creatures, and whatever you see & feel around.
HE is not an IMAGINATIVE-SUPERMAN, STATUE or is bounded by a few bogus rituals & practices, nor in any IMAGES .
RELIGIONS are built-up by the groups of SELF-STYLED SOCIAL REFORMERS, from time to time, and propagated to spread their own preachings, as per their sweet-will, in different parts of the Globe, in variable centuries, to express their own superiority over the others.
RELIGIONS have nothing to do with GOD nor HE has given any PROPRIETY / AUTHORITY / RIGHTS/ POWER OF ATTORNEY , to act anybody on HIS behalf, on this earth as the so-called SAINTS/ REPRESENTATIVES / DISCIPLES / PROPHETS / AGENTS /RELIGIOUS WRITERS et ...more

If you go to the doctor for your relief (physical) you give money and got the treatment. Likewise your life problem solved by the god (who got a belief) and offering fees. It is given voluntarily. Now a days in temple it become commericial. Even you want to see the god you have to give money and see. People are giving and temple management collecting. can't help.
