No, it was not as she should have won by at least 2 points if they would have given him the due points. Sadly our appeal hasnt been upheld too. Hope, now Vijender & Mary kom can do what should relieve the pain of Sangwan & Vikas!!

May be it was not fair. but the fact is why do we have to depend up on appeals ....?? we should be in a position such that 1 0r 2 medals here & there should not affect the medal tally. but our problem is we are fighting hard even for bronze. ...... !! that is more worrying for indian sports ...... :(((

India has lodged a counter appeal in the boxer Vikas Krishan controversy. The Indian boxing team has appealed to the International Boxing Association to declare Vikas Krishan a winner in the Welter weight (69 kg) event which Vikas first won.
