According to UNESCO report Feb 2010, it was said that about 72 million primary school age children and another 71 million adolescents are not at school, and on current trends, 56 million primary school age children will still be out of school in 2015 and India still have highest number of illiterate adults in the world. So RTE Act has come in correct time to save the children who drop out of the schools due to financial crisis. With proper implementation of RTE Act we can expect a good quality of education. Parents can interfere in School Development Activites through SMC. Kids emotions are respected by RTE Act and literacy level will go high in rural and remote areas. Can find Unity in Diversity in classroom. Corruption can be wiped out with proper grievance redressal mechanism and thus transparency in education system. Kids should be admitted in entry level of the school whether preschool or class I as the case may be. Boarding and residential schools should come under RTE Act.
