The law does nothing to reform criminals. we are talking about india and not UK. here they are treated like dirt in jails. i have seen the real position in my social service.
the aim must be to curb crime , eliminate crime and not criminal. in this case , sanjay dutt had a 20 year crime free life , he is a reformed man and in no way danger to society. so he deserves mercy

Feeling bad for him but law is same for all, if others are punished for the same crime, celebrity shouldn't have any excuse. In fact people look at them as idol so they have even more social responsibility.
