I am almost sure that Mulayam & Mayawati will not withdraw support. But Mamta is a brilliant, except once when she was fooled by Mulayam on the choice candidate for President. Over the years she has created an image which is pro-people, her simple white sarees, chappals and way she talks gives the impression that she is like common people. In the second term of UPA she has always been a threat for implementation of its policy decisions and many times got her way also. Earler the scrapping of FDI in retail, reversion of rail fare hikes, and not allowing the govt to sign the river treaty with Bangladesh are examples which show that she is a tough nut to crack. But at the same time she is a politician also, it has been just one year since she has assumed power in WB, so she knows that by breaking away from the UPA, she will endangering her own alliance with Congress at the state level, so like always as in the case of petrol price hike she will accept partial roll back of the hike in dies ...more

No they are just trying to threaten... no one wants reelection.. it costs to much and this is their earning time by catching the Govt or by getting good ministry posts.

With this masterstroke, the Sardar has swept all these Mamtas/Mulayams/Mayas aside. If they withdraw support the govt will fall. Mid term poll will be held. Congress will go to the people with this. Mamta/Mulayam/Maya plus BJP will also go to the people. In the end Congress will lose and NDA will come to power. Then will start the actual drama.
Will BJP allow the FDI? Will it not? One must not forget that during Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji's rule, same BJP had prepared a draft for allowing 100% FDI in retail. This draft is a documen that can be had just by asking otherwise by RTI. The BJP will get exposed for opposing today because Congress is doing it. Where as, they had wanted to do the same thing, but could not do as NDA also suffered this Mamta/Jaya problem.
