POLITICS :: Is it necessary to divide one language speaking Andhra Pradesh ? Telengana issue is a mere Political Plot or a Logical Demand of the people ?

When the State Reorganisation Committee was given the task post-independence, the primary guiding criteria was to amalgamate the regions with a common language as their mother tongue. This was then considered necessary, as the existing structure was a hotch potch arrangement based on what existed as British ruled areas and the princely states and there was a clamour to form the states on linguistic basis as the general perception was that there is no greater affinity than the common language.

With that the States were formed, though there were lot of disputes in the various border areas as the populace was of dual language and hundreds of years of British or Dynastic rule had resulted in lot of cross migration from one area to another and each State could claim that the region is of a particular languisitc lot. The controversy is still raging and no one has fiddled with it except for minor adjustments by give and take.

Samikya Andhra a slogan coined recently, when a family breaks many persons in the family are opting for division instead of union. Joint family
set up disappearing. We do not what is the problem of our neighbour.
Jai Andhra movement was there.Those people who are now fasting and
agitating against the formation of telengana, why not come to KCRasrequested him to brake the fast, embrace him.,and hug him and ask him why he is agrieved let us bulld a "GOLDEN TELENGANA" together.please do not insist for separation. Why not students of Andhra University negoiation with students pf Usmania while they are agitatating
for separate state. Why did at all the matter has been referred to Centre,
before that before that had an emicable meeting has been held, and the
sentiments and problems of people of telengana understood and redressed. it would have been ideal. Not a single soul objected for formation of telengana till 11 p,m, when Chidambaram shown "green flag"

People need to understand that these politicians are using them everywhere these languages and customs are there for many years now and haven't they lived like that for years together.if people start getting at each others throats on small issues then india will be in parts in some years and every politician will be the prime minister of his or her state

I am power crazy and due to this i had been doing good work for the people of my area.
i am already a president of my colony. if my area is divided from my state and given an autonomous state position , i will become a cheif ( cheap ) minister

Said issue is pending from many years the divide on the basis of language speaking is not acceptable if it is done for the betterment of state and good of country than it is OK
