Tukaram Ombale was an assistant sub-inspector. He was killed during the 2008 Mumbai attacks while fighting terrorists at Girgaum Chowpatty. He was awarded the Ashoka Chakra which is the highest peacetime gallantry award. I salute this great son of Mother India.
