West Indies Cricket Board has realized from IPL-4 that Chris Gayle has tremendous potential as a swashbuckling cricketer. He bats like a gale storm, bowls like a cute intelligent bowler and fields like bullet. Everyone knows that he is indispensable for the WI team but ego was stopping them from selecting him. Now, the time has come to select him, otherwise the WICB will lose its credentials.

It would have been surprising if he was not recalled. Recalling him , ignoring his difference of opinion with the boaed is based on his excellent performance as a batsman and a reliable slow bowler. He is a very good all rounder and will enrich the depleted Cricket team of W.I. of today.
