It was very bad .... i had to leave my hometown and go to Sewagram, maharashtra to do my engg.
Due to lot of ragging in hostel, my initial days of college life were terrible.
i remember that for the 1st day of college, we had to get our hairs really reduced , like armycut , we had to put oil in head , we were told to wear old and plain without any design shirts and trousers with white sports shoes . we had to keep our head down , walk in a row from hostel to college and say Gud mrng. to anyone who passed nearby ... sometimes, by mistake , as our head were down , we used to bump into cows and said gud morning to cows also. we were made to look like stupid people with no style as a part of ragging .

I was called to a senior's room for ragging but they did not do anything. Late we became best friends and I asked him about it. He said I was so innocent looking that he did not have a heart to harass me
