Society is what we mad it. It is formed by us only. I can bet the 90% of people are corrupt at one point or other. Society can not be fully blamed for prostitution. Toad morning at 430am I saw my near house tenant woman , who is married and have 2 kids with a young about 23 years old boy in a very highly objectionable state in the park. Since at that time I was first to enter in the park. I do not know when these 2 came in. I called few more people and objected. The police was called in but they both ran away. The matter was under investigation when I started off for work. The woman seems to be from high standard. So society if you mean men's society is not fully responsible for this. Women to some extents are also responsible.

The line between PROTECTION and EXPLOITATION is very thin. A young sapling needs an enclosure and shade. As it grows, it needs less and less protection and finally freedom. Then it can stand on its own. Male domination & degradation of women has been perpetuated over ages in the name of this so called PROTECTION. What women need is NOT PROTECTION but equal CITIZEN RIGHTS just like males. Men need NOT look into women's morality as long as they are adults and don't harm others. It is upto them to take care of that. All crimes should be dealt with firmly by government, those by men as well as women!

Society in general is least sensitive about moral crimes. I believe it will never be and cant be sensitive about it untill and unless the basic needs of the people are not gurantedly made available for the people, specially women. Women by nature are more sensitive towards human values, untill and unless they get decisive powers under their control nothing I expect to get changed. The so called society not only gets born out of women but also groomed by women Problem starts infused in only after women finding it weak in having her say when society gets grown, Women must have some sort of extra powers with them so as to make it possible for them to maintain their control on the society. Society starts getting spoiled only when it comes out of the women's controls. Thats what and how I think.

Reason for atrocities on women is manifold...which stems from effects of many mediums....U can't censor TV channels, Movies like Jism & Jism2, internet porn sites, and the school and college campus is dumped with Valentine Day cards now-a-days, moreover parents of school/college studying guys feel proud if their kid is involved with more than 1 gals in his friend circle.....most importantly the teachers who are blvd to be the torch bearers in guiding the society in moral path are found to be immoral and characterless having found to be manhandling or even abusing the innocent young gals.......in addition to this modern parents of gals want to see their daughter as a sophisticated and modern gal to be active in show business field like modelling, movies, reality shows etc.In this pursuit they often loose control over her moral behavior....and extra freedom tells its story when that gal falls prey to porn CD makers....and the consequence ???? not very friendly....only social insult, and ...more

To some degree, yes, women are responsible. Feminism has told us that we 'need to be on par with men', so nowadays you see just as many women engaging in promiscuous sex and advertising their bodies on nights out. It really irritates me when women go out in short skirts, cleavage revealing tops and then have the audacity to lecture men for looking.

Society doesn't think about " society " thats the problem. Everybody thinks about themself only.

If it affects them directly then they will think about protecting women and all that, but if they are not getting benefited by it, then they don't give a damn about it.

The mirror to our society is being shown daily, and every minute of the day, by CG Walas on this forum. No one raises any voice against it. Not even those who are running this forum. This, in spite of even telephone numbers provided openly and so arrogantly by these procurers/suppliers of women for s*ex*ual abuse.

Society is definitely against any crime. It is media which portrays and glorifies such incidents in a way promoting the evil. To some extent, women themselves are also responsible in few cases.
