I did miss train either due to being late or due to carelessness. So far I have never missed a flight, though once I missed to miss it at Dubai, while waiting to meet my son who was arriving from India and I wanted to see him before I leave. After I missed the train I did feel hopeless, but then there were trains following, so I boarded the next train and carried on my journey.

Sai Ram. Yes, I missed a train first and thus reached my training school one day late and was deducted a princely sum of Rs.10/- per that day's absence! That was in 1966. Later I missed a train and had to travel by bus. I missed a flight and thus missed a committee meeting and missed a bus while going to Srisailam. Missing city buses is of course a common affair. The first time was painful but later, I have come to accept it as Divine Will.

As far as I remember I have never missed a train or a flight or even a long distance bus journey because I always ensure to reach the station or the airport well before the scheduled departure.

Yes, once I was in Trivendrum and I had to visit Madurai & Rameswaram from there. As soon as I reached the platform, I found that the train has gone. I felt that Goddesss Minakshi and God Shiva does not want to see me in his/ her temple. I felt very sad. Just after one year I got a tour to visit the above places and was happy to know that this time I could spend much more time than the earlier.

Yes. Once missed a train and once a bus. When I went to buy a food packet, train left and could not catch it. Took a taxi and followed but failed to reach. Went by another train the next day. Then in the bus stand we were talking and talking. Bus came and left. I trvelled then 700 km in a lorry.
