Q.

The Govt has not done any positive development work. Everywhere there is dirt, garbage, bad roads etc. When will the govt wake up to do something noteworthy.

Blame the people not the Government - the people should demand change from their local Municipality or Corporation, the people vote for the ineffectual people in charge. Also anyone who cares passionately enough could themselves get a position whereby they have the authority to press for changes and improvements.
The people could organise Environmental Groups and make themselves heard, get publicity in the local press and campaign that they are fed up of living in a dirty environment. Talk is easy - action requires effort.

May you suggest some preventive steps to ensure free and fair election?

There should be complete prohibition in the country after the announcement of election till its declaration of result. Would it not help in minimizing crime during the election?

Distribution of any material, gifts, cash or even farm products among voters during campaign or otherwise should be banned and if any candidate found to be indulged in such activities directly or through his supporters, his candidature must be cancelled spontaneously.

Why does a good candidate need support of India fame political leader or a film actor or a few singer or dancer to win the election? Why not these rallys should be banned?

None of person outside the state or even outside the constituency should be allowed to file nomination in the election. None from outside the constituency should be allowed to campaign for any candidate.

Use of public transport or vehicle to mobilize audience in the political rally should be c ...more

Which Govt do you refer to? The Central Govt or the State Govt of your state? You have just made a sweeping allegation that the Govt hasnt done any developmental work. There may be large scale corruption, nepotism, lethargy, insensitiveness, inept handling of issues etc etc..But, how can we say that no developmental activities have been done. There have been many, could have been undertaken many more..But, dont make an outright balme. Then, please remember that garbage clearance, civic amenities etc are the responsibilities of the Municipality or Corporation, and not that of the State Govt.
