I never used to have anything to do with these dogs earlier. But since a year and a half, I have started hating them! They have become a great nuisance in the village and suburban areas of Punjab I don't know about other states).
They attack a lone person or even two persons, children going to school or women going into fields. They attack in packs of six or seven or even more and even in day time, kill and eat up their victims' flesh. It is reported in our local news papers every now and then. "Awaara kutte, school jaate bachche ko noch noch kar kha gaye."
Local administration and police have raised their hands up! "What we can do? Go to Maneka Gandhi who has made a law that Dog's cannot be killed." This is what they say.
So people in Punjab live in fear of these man eater dogs day and night.

We had an Alsatian Dog ( bitch) as our pet. She died at the age of 10 & after that we r not indulging us in dog loving as it is very stressful !!
