I do not know him personally to decide whether he is is likable or not. But, from whatever that I have heard him speaking or read (a little) certain things which he has written, I do not like him much.

The first book written by Kushwant Sing "A train to Pakistan" is his best, in which the barbaric acts that took place against the Hindus in West Pakistan are depicted in their ghastly reality. The books that he wrote after this were not of the same quality. He was also editor of the magazine 'Illustrated Weekly' for some time but again nothing special happened during his tenure.
