Diplomacy is a state of tactful response and behaviour provoking human action without causing a negative fallout. As for the trip to HELL well onyl a diplomat can goad one to travel the same.

It's not like that, you have mentioned. In family relation you may right but so for as nations are concern, the diplomats are not the fools. Diplomat is nothing but handlling the situation in a nice way that no one should hurt and to supress the situation immideatly

Yup...it's positive too......very few diplomats have skill in dealing with people in difficult situations without upsetting or offending them ....The conventions and practices of diplomacy are changing. The more Indian diplomats behave like dinosaurs especially mens, the less effective they are in the real world.......

When a diplomat says yes he means perhaps; when he says perhaps he means no; when he says no he is no diplomat. A diplomat's life is made up of three ingredients: protocol, Geritol and alcohol

No its not like that. U are talking abt the person who is good in convincing power. When you will forward to the trip at the same dipomat person will tell u the drawbacks of it... Diplomats usual sail on both the ships.. They are not that confident who can make you think hell is trip, ya they may start you feeling that but suddenly they may take a U trun and speak the otherside of the coin... Thats diplomat.. Not really, I think you should me straight and confident to express wat you feel.
