It is an island in the west indies. when columbus explored it ages ago, in the 13th century i think, he made it his family estate! however, later it passed into British hands. the capital of jamaica is kingston.

Jamaica is an island nation in the Carribbean sea. It is the third largest island in the carribbean. Kingston is the capital of Jamaica.
