Q.
Do you find "Indian nationalism" a bit ironic considering "India" was the creation of the British. So by gloating and chest beating on "Indian Nationalism" we are actually celebrating something that was handed 2 us by British????
Shouldn't we adopt a brand of nationalism that stresses on South Asian unity to say the least?

No harm in being nationlist. But in today's world, nationalism is being fused with patriotism ,which is mixed up with jingoism.
For most of us, nationalism means supporting India at cricket matches, hating Pakistan and cheering for Slumdog at the Oscars. I sincerely feel in the world without boundaries that we have today, nationalism is an outdated concept.
