Do you know in Kashmir unofficially they are changing names Anantnaag is now called as Islamabad and sheshnag Hills as Suleman hills are they eradicating the heritage of the Valley where we Had great Kings like Lalitaditya, we Had Buddhist great soul Acharya Shribhadra who is known as Kha Che rimpoche in Tibetan, the famous work of Kalhan named Rajtarangeeni all are thrown out of Kasmirthese are the same people who burnt down Dargah of Charar e sharif,

Very sad to learn of this. I have childhood memories of Pahalgam, Anant Nag and the Shesnag hills. We had a great time there. Unfortunately, the people there are bent on destroying the historical times and ways. Just as they did it in Pakistan.

Guarav, I hate to say this...first of all u say "HERITAGE".....there is not much interest in India to MAINTAIN, leave alone PRESERVE heritage. MANY of our heritage buildings are converted to Govt of India offices today. And u can see spit, dirt, and betel and a culture of indiscipline littering the poor heritage site. Also in other natural heritage sites, I have seen signs like "Shyam loves Sita" carved w/ knifes. I have also seen our auto drivers take me to a heritage site, only to urinate right outside its entrance.
So does it REALLY make a difference whatever we call those hills- as far as HERITAGE VALUES (pls note I am talking about HERITAGE ALONE AND NOT PATRIOTISM- I WILL GET TO THAT LATER) goes? I am an Indian so perhaps, I do feel bad in my heart still that those dudes are renaming them hills in the valley.
However, if a neutral foreigner who took a look at the condition of our heritage sites- buildings and natural history sites- he will just shrug u off saying heritage ...more

The only way to secure Kashmir is by stopping the mollifying of treachorous & dangerous Kashmiri Muslims & relocating the Kashmiri Pandits there & allowing free migration of all Indians to Kashmir.
