Generally dont watch news on TV because I feel that they have forgotten the meaning of NEWS - North East West South. They generally indulge in sensationalizing News, create controversies and mostly show negative news as that sells. They have no sense of social responsibility as shown during the continuous coverage of the Mumbai attacks as a drama unfolding, continuous coverage of the boy Prince stuck in a boring hole, judgements given by sitting in the studio as in the Arushi murder case, showing of the same images of the deluge of heavy rainfall in Mumbai in the next year causing panic. Most importantly during prime time they indulge in one hour useless debates without any positive conclusions, the almost total non-coverage of world news. Most importantly I had to wait for one and a half hour to get the score of a test match during which I surfed all channels
