It will be foolish to imagine values and principles in Politics and at least for Congress Party people. Only target of Congress party is to capture power by hook or by crook. Most of the other regional parties are made of person who were either rejected or ignored by Congress party or who did not get ample scope of acquiring enough power and money to suit his or her ego and status. Congress party is dependent on Nehru family and as long as Sonia or Rahul or any member of Nehru family is associated with and holding top post in the Congress party there is some life, otherwise Congress party will disintegrate into tiny particles.

Only National Party like BJP and CPM has some set of rules for their party persons. Unfortunately there has been sharp erosion in the image of BJP and CPM too due to their alignment or giving weightage to some dirty fishes which came out of dirty pond of Congress party.
