Well I feel good that Slumdog Millionaire has won 8 Oscars. Our actors are being recognized on the Global platform. Im sure Bollywood has more in store for the coming year. I understand it was not a Bollywood movie but it will definitely open the gate for Bollywood in the western world. Bollywood has produced many movies but very few can make it to the Oscar. Hope this coming year there will be good movies from bollywood that will get the same kind of global appreciation. Recently I have been to the film festival in Pune and saw some good movies. The most I liked is the upcoming movie Barah Aana, its a comedy of real life in Mumbai. Nasseruddin Shah has given a very strong performance. The story revolves around 3 friends and its a dark comedy. Every one in the movie has given a strong performance. Can read more about the movie here http://barah-aana-the-film.blogspot.com/ .
