Its not an easy thing to extradite or get to question headley but our govt is trying their best to do so but they need to press more for his custody otherwise this will also linger on forever!!

Heh .....

After seeing how easily Warren Andersen and his bunch of criminals got away w/ Bhopal, I don't think India has enough commanding presence to really get up there and straight up demand and secure a hostile target.

The US has never cooperated w/ us in this regard. Please keep in mind tht some very senior Khalistani movement leader and their cohorts were legally living in Canada w/ blessings from the US. When on earth have they given India access to ANYTHING?

Yet here we are giving them DEA and FBI field offices in DElhi.....I say we kick out US foreign interests such as DEA / FBI like Venezuela did considering the US' lackshire treatment to us.

Come on dost, they even brazenly strip searched a President of ours.

And did you see how even some no good third rate senator like Tom Lantos comments about India? "If India knew what is good 4 them, they will support us in sanctioning Iran!" And we just took that. IF someone ever spoke of INdia like that to me while I ...more

America is a geat satan as people call .when they are concerned they pressurise other countries to hand over terrorists but when thier agency involvment will come under scanner they do not hand over .what kind of friendship is this excpet for amerian advantage .our whole security apparatus is no use unless we get to question prime suspect headley for his involvement to get to the core of matter . if such terrorists are not handed over then how can we control terrorism here as terrorists are sure that our govt can not do anything . remember case of kandhar hijacking .how terrorists were handed over to taleban

Foreign Secretarys statement is just a face saver and Indian officials have totally failed to understand the reality that there are no rules in U.S.A. to allow handing over their citizens to foreign countries either for interrogation or judicial trial. Whatever the allegations by foreign countries, Americans shall be tried at America only and only by their Investigators and Judiciary. It is as simple as that. If Indian officials do not know that then they have to go to school once again to learn from the beginning. Forget all those Extradition Treaties. Americans would sign the Treaties to extradite suspects from your country to their country and not vice versa. The only option available to others, is to arrest suspects like Headley in India while he is here and put him to trial here without bowing to American pressure. That works. Recently Italian court sentenced an American girl for 20 years in prison for killing a friend while on tour there. They did not bow to American pressure. ...more
